Hello, My name is Katie or Kate for short, and I am from Chicago, IL.  I created Kate's Creative Designs in 2016. I have always been drawn to crystals and semi-precious stones. It's probably because my Dad used to work in a stone quarry. He would bring chunks of crystals and fossils home for me when I was a kid and tell me what they were made of. In 2012 I went from the Corporate world, working for a Fortune 500 company, to being a stay-at-home mom. Thus began my journey to discovering myself again. So I delved into self-help books, oracle cards, and crystals.  I came across an article regarding crystals and their metaphysical meanings. I knew there were more to crystals than just their pretty, shiny surface.  So I began studying and learning about their metaphysical meanings and properties. From an early age I have always wanted to help people, just didn't know how. Then it came to me. I could make jewelry and help people by giving those crystal properties and healings to the person wearing them. In the beginning of my business, I  began to make jewelry, specifically bracelets, to help people. I started an Etsy store and sold them to family and friends and in gift shops for local artists.  One day I came across an article from a practitioner who offered vibrational crystal energy healing and took the course and became certified as a Vibration Crystal Energy Healer. So I began to expand my jewelry line and offer more jewelry infused with the healing energy of crystals and energy healing sessions to help the people heal their mind, body, and spirit.
